And you can also pick up extra money from the restaurants than give you the waste oil by competing with the (vacuum truck) companies that already offer this service. Creating Biodiesel is really amateur chemistry, and quite simple.

Obviously you do not not understand biodiesel. Most biodiesel is made from recycled oil. Also, you omit that many farmers are paid NOT to grow certain crops. If more old oil was recycled and farmers were paid to grow crops for biodiesel maybe you too would be paying $1.70 for your gas. Educate yourself on this.

try a 50% bio blend with 50% petro diesel. I have also heard that canola oil is pretty good for winter blends, but it might just be a rumor. And dont try to buy something labeled as a "anti-gelling" additive. none of them work for biodiesel that well. Whatever you do, stick a sample of your blend in the freezer overnight to make sure it will work. if any wax forms, dont use it.

the new golf (rabbit) is a 2.0 liter diesel with electric hybrid. it is pretty sweet. I would consider getting one if they release it in the USA. But, i already own a Yaris so i'm not gonna reduce my fuel useage by much

We have the ability to run this material in our cars and heat our homes. Pellet stoves can burn corn. Why then can we not support American farmers so that their way of life supports our way of life. ethanol and biodiesel are two different things. ethanol is just alcohol, which is currently derived from corn. E85 is 85% ethanol, 15% gasoline. It is a substitute for gasoline while biodiesel is a substitute for diesel.

hi we need to put this fuel on the market . are country is falling into a trap with oil , and if we can do 30% of biofeul and make are cars run 30 too 40 miles to the gal, we need too help are self , not wait until other country have a rope around are heads

Every state can consider a mandatory biodiesel blend for their diesel fuel. So far, only Minnesota has done it, and theirs is a 2% blend. Where are you Gov Arnold of CA? Let's stop funding Saudi's who hate us folks. Keep a little of your fuel money in the USA.
